The Women and Girls with Disability Fund is an initiative of Abilis Foundation a non-governmental organisation founded by persons with disabilities that works in fragile contexts of developing countries. It is established with sole aim of funding, projects planned by women and girls with disabilities to enable effective implementation of their project. The projects aim to contribute to improvement in the status of women and girls with disabilities, strengthening human rights, inclusive participation and independent living.
ELIGIBILITY
- The funding project is for women and girls with disabilities
- The funding project is for person with disabilities and organisations
- All project must be planned and implemented by persons with disabilities.
- Funding is open to only applicants from these countries; Myanmar, Ethiopia, Nepal, Vietnam, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Malawi, Tanzanian, Uganda, Mozambique.
