Last year, we ran a program of 24 interns of 15 nationalities based across 14+ cities, from 19+ universities including: Harvard Business School, Brown University, Duke University, New York University, University of Manchester, University of Toronto, Hult Business School, Bocconi University, and more.
As a member of our team you will gain a holistic understanding of venture capital investing from sector mapping, deal origination, diligence and execution to value creation in portfolio companies. You will work collaboratively with our team to evaluate and execute investment opportunities and drive growth within our portfolio companies.

The internship will include a training program, a lecture series by industry leaders and a mentorship program. Previous guest lecturers included Chamath Palihapitiya (Social Capital), Ziyad Baeshen (General Atlantic), Shant Oknayan (Tiktok), Fares Akkad (Meta), and celebrity and former NBA player turned entrepreneur, Rick Fox, amongst others.
Global Ventures is a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, which promises an immersive introduction to the world of venture capital. A good fit will find reward in an unstructured environment where individuals own their actions and have outsized impact.
As this is a virtual internship, all candidates will be required to have access to a laptop and internet connection to take part in the program. Weekly engagement and collaboration will take place using remote working tools such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom and Notion amongst others. Please note that as majority of the team is based in the UAE, working hours will fall within this time zone.
Your Responsibilities:
Researching various sectors and subsectors within our target verticals, writing reports and providing deep-dive analyses. Screening new opportunities that fall within our fund’s mandate and overall investment thesis. Contributing to our deal evaluation and execution process including financial and competitive analysis, market sizing and commercial due diligence. Assisting in the preparation of internal investment recommendations to the Investment Committee. Working closely with portfolio companies to drive value-creation initiatives and manage reporting, oversight, and operations. Contributing to fund marketing efforts which are directed to both our external community and to our investors. Helping to maintain internal databases.
