Fundraising Intern (Remote)

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Fundraising Intern to join our team and contribute to our fundraising efforts to drive impactful programs in women’s health and gender equality. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and grant development within the global health sector.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Donor Research and Engagement○ Research potential funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and individual donors, with a focus on supporting gender justice and health equity. ○ Assist in building donor profiles and maintaining an organised donor database.
  1. Fundraising Materials and Proposal Development ○ Collaborate in creating compelling grant proposals, pitch decks, and other fundraising materials. ○ Support the preparation of communication materials for donor meetings and presentations.

  2. Social Media and Campaign Support ○ Work with the communications team to develop content for social media and other platforms to promote fundraising campaigns. ○ Contribute ideas and assist with digital campaigns to expand the reach of our fundraising efforts.

  3. Project Support ○ Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies tailored to support our mission and objectives. ○ Support cross-departmental fundraising initiatives to enhance organisational growth.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Global Health, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in fundraising, business development, or volunteer positions is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluent in English.

Duration and Compensation: This is a paid internship, $200 per month with flexible hours. Start date and duration will be determined based on mutual agreement.
