We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to complement our Engineering and Business operation team.
Requirements
Experience:
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on building data pipelines and working with cloud data technologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in dbt for data transformation and modeling.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
- Understanding of GIT and CI/CD with GitHub actions.
- Strong understanding of AWS and AWS data technologies (e.g., EC2, S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, DMS, RDS).
- Basic shell scripting skills for task automation and Linux configuration.
- Advanced Python programming skills for data processing and automation.
- Experience with SQL and query optimization techniques.
- Data Management: Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database design principles.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD in data engineering.
- Familiarity with pub/sub technologies like Apache Kafka.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
