Content Marketing & Social Media Manager at Hersynergytribe(Remote)

We’re seeking a creative and passionate Content Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence and content strategy. This role combines storytelling, community engagement, and event promotion to amplify HerSynergy’s impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Management:

  • Write compelling and on-brand content for our weekly newsletter.
  • Create engaging and informative content for physical and virtual events, including graphics, videos, and blog posts.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and produce content that promotes our events, spotlights members, and shares important news.
  • Document and share community success stories and impact.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice across all platforms.

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to grow our online community organically.
  • Manage daily content creation, posting, and engagement on platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Stay on top of trends, finding creative ways to position HerSynergy Tribe.
  • Drive organic growth and engagement
  • Monitor social media metrics and prepare reports
  • Engage with community members and broader audience

Event Support:

  • Create promotional content for physical events
  • Document and share event highlights
  • Attend and provide content coverage for 2-4 events annually
  • Coordinate with event team for consistent messaging

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in content marketing or social media management.
  • Creative flair for visual storytelling, with basic graphic design and video editing skills being a plus.
  • Experience with social media management & content creation tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Based in Lagos, Nigeria

  • Community Storytelling: Create sample graphics for a social media series highlighting friendships formed within HerSynergy
  • Social Media Audit: Review our current social media presence and develop two content samples that reflect suggested improvements based on your review.
  • Event Promotion Plan: Create a content plan and graphic to promote a physical HerSynergy event for women across all career levels (members and non-members).
  • Mission Interest & Social Media: Create a visual post that combines why HerSynergy’s mission resonates with you, incorporating an element inspired by your favorite social media account or brand.

Newsletter

Choose one task alone

  • Write a 200-300 word newsletter draft for HerSynergy aimed at both internal and external audiences.
  • Outline a month’s worth of newsletter themes. Include content categories and section ideas.
  • Explain how you’d increase subscribers and improve reader engagement in a HerSynergy newsletter.
