Commercial Partnerships Lead at Chayn (Remote)

We are looking for a confident and energetic person with experience in building rapport to lead on our commercial partnerships, training and programme delivery. Chayn has a goal to diversify our income by increasing the number of partnerships we have with tech companies and non-profits, and we are looking for the right person to lead on this work.

Chayn’s income comes through both charitable funding and commercial partnerships with organisations whose staff or beneficiaries can be supported by our products and services.

Essential

  • 5+ years in business development or sales roles
  • Experience working in or with large commercial tech companies and tech startups
  • Experience managing the delivery of, or procuring, a staff training program
  • Project and budget management
  • Proven skills in relationship management
  • An understanding of gender-based violence
  • Experience of working for diverse cultural and geographical audiences
  • Experience of working in global, distributed teams
  • English fluency in speaking and writing

Desirable

  • Experience working with charitable or non-profit organisations
  • Education or background in trauma and its effects, trauma-informed care and vicarious trauma
  • Experience working in gender-based violence survivor support, community outreach or mental health

Hours: This contract will fixed-term for 12 months with a possibility for extension, subject to funding.

  • Chayn is a 4-day week organisation so 30 hours is considered full time.
  • With this role, your hours can be arranged flexibly across the week ensuring you cover at least 2 hours per day of UK working hours for at least 3 days a week.
  • Our programmes are currently delivered to groups based in the GMT and EST timezones. You may occasionally be expected to work hours that cover each of there timezones.
  • The role will require someone who is comfortable with the responsibility of time-sensitive tasks which may not always sit within your chosen working hours.

Location: Remote, you can be based anywhere in the world

Salary: £39,000-£42,000 (pro rata) dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time (at Chayn this is 30hrs or 4 days a week). Applications for part-time proposals welcomed.

Duration: Fixed term 12 months with the possibility for extension

Chayn is a fully remote organisation. For this role you can be based anywhere in the world.
