The Chinese Government NPU Scholarships are offered to students seeking to study Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees at the Northwestern Polytechnic University in China.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Northwestern Polytechnic University Scholarships, you must:
- have a good physical and mental health (no infectious or contagious diseases and no physical or mental disorders that could interfere with regular study).
- be under 25 by September 1st, 2025 (Undergraduates).
- as of September 1st, 2025, applicants for master’s program must hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Applicants for the master’s program should be under 30 by September 1st, 2025.
- hold a high school diploma by September 1st, 2025.
- be competent in performing scientific research and maintain a good academic grade level.
- The requirement for previous academic grade level is an average score of 75% and above. NPU accepts international standardized tests such as SAT/ACT/A-Level/AP/IB/GED or regional high school graduation examination.
- Applicants may provide other certificates as proof for academic performance.
- have Chinese or English language proficiency that meets the requirement.
- be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports.

Path I – Chinese University Program-via University.

- Step 2, Complete the interview arranged by NPU and get the pre-admission notice.
- Then complete the application form at CSC system: https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login
Path II – Bilateral Program-Apply via Local Chinese Embassy.
- Applicants who meet the requirements are recommended to apply to the local government or Chinese Embassy first.
- Please contact the local relevant institutes or the Chinese Embassy to confirm the eligibility requirements, agency number, and program type for applying for the scholarship.
