Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and support of hardware and software systems.

- Collaborate with IT team members to improve internal processes and identify areas for optimization.
- Assist in IT security-related tasks like virus scans, software updates, and data backups

Research Intern (Responsibilities)
- Assist in gathering data for macroeconomics, earnings, company, sector, industry, and market reports.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of a financial data bank.
- Assist in developing models for research and other departments where necessary.
- Send out morning news updates, price lists, and market reports.
- Watch news events and updates for development and relay impactful news in a timely manner.
- Stay on top of (and develop reports for) earnings releases, inflation reports, and GDP reports.
- Collaborate with members of other departments where necessary to provide research support.
Requirements of the Research Intern
- 0–1-year worth of experience in analytical-based roles or a track record of analytical-based personal projects.
- Must possess a calm temperament with an ability to apply analytical methodologies to a myriad of situations despite emotional state.
- Must possess an ability to accept constructive criticism and make improvements.
- Must be a self-starter with an ability to take charge of their learning and development and assume ownership of projects to see them to completion.
- Ideally with an analytical, statistical, or financial educational background (finance, economics, engineering, mathematics).
- Proficiency with numbers and able to work with data.
- Familiarity with basic Excel functions.
- The ability to work within tight time frames and under pressure.
- Must be courteous, respectful, and willing to learn.
