Empowerment and Violence Prevention Against Women (Moldova)

The Women Empowernment and violence prevention is a program funded by the European Union, and implemented jointly by UN Women and UNFPA.

The fund is designed to tackle the rights of women facing multiple forms of discrimination.

UN Women is inviting civil society organizations (CSOs) registered in Moldova with the experience of work gender equality and women’s empowerment.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

           The following competences are considered ;

    • Proven in-house expertise in working on issues around gender equality, youth and/or women empowerment, prevention and combating of violence against women, as well as delivering results in these areas. It is recommended to have a gender expert/specialist as part of the team.
    • Have experience in management of projects with similar size to the one submitted under this Call.
    • Knowledge of Romanian, English is mandatory. Russian is an asset.
    • t least 3 years of documented successful track record in the area of work contained in this Terms of Reference.
    • Good knowledge of gender equality and women’s rights issues, as well as needs of vulnerable groups of women.
    • Experience in working at national, local and community level.
