The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is a US-based learned society dedicated to advancing computing as a science and profession. The Association supports numerous awards recognizing achievements in computing at all career levels.
Nominees must:
- Be an ACM Member at the time of nomination.
- Be within 10 years of receiving her terminal degree.
- NOT have previously received the Rising Star Award.
Self-nominations are encouraged. Preference is given to applicants without recent recognition.
This is an annual award, and the recipient receives a commemorative plaque and a 1,000 USD stipend.
